Recipe for light red lentil stew
Ingredients:
- 200g red lentils
- 300ml water
- onion
- 2 carrots
- 2 tablespoons of oil
- teaspoon of cayenne pepper
- 50g oatmeal
- clove of garlic
- salt
- pepper
- cumin powder
- parsley leaf
Preparation:
Fry the onion in oil, add chopped carrots, allspice, lentils and oatmeal. Pour in 300ml of water and cook for 20-25 minutes. Towards the end, add garlic, salt, and garnish the stew with finely chopped parsley.
